Aircraft Propulsion Research
Through my coursework for my Aerospace Engineering minor, I have gained a strong understanding of how aircraft operate and developed a particular interest in their propulsion systems. Specifically, I am intrigued by the limitations of aircraft engines. Currently, I am collaborating with a team of students under the guidance of Dr. Gaurav Sharma to research and develop innovative methods to address these challenges.

The research focuses on enhancing the efficiency of gas turbine engines by leveraging variable geometry within the engine's internal components. This is achieved by utilizing actuators to dynamically adjust tolerances, compensating for the thermal expansion of the engine's materials due to heat.
